Hotel Review: Hotel Falken – Luzern

Great location, cute boutique hotel.

My friends and I stayed in Hotel Falken for two nights and spent a full day in Lucerne. I think it’s a good bargain for a short term stay and for its location. I also liked that they were able to cater to our group of four and provided individual twin size beds for each of us. The hotel room was clean and comfortable.

Just like any other European hotel, the rooms are small. There were four of us so the room was pretty tight. We didn’t really care much for that since we spent all day outside exploring the city and Mount Pilatus.

The location is also great because the train station is within walking distance and you get to walk by Luzern’s infamous scenic view of the lake and the bridge. My only complaint would be the bad wifi connection. We literally have to go outside the room if you want to connect and that’s not even to say it was successful every time!

So I think it depends on what you value the most. Location, space, wifi?

If you have more questions, please feel free to leave me a note! 🙂
