A Beach Bum in the Bahamas

Don’t underestimate the islands of the Bahamas. I last visited the Bahamas last year before Thanksgiving, for a last minute quick getaway. I was having a stressful time at work and needed an escape to relax and reboot. I picked the Bahamas as the go to destination instead of my usual easy escape, Florida. I was desperate to feel the sand under my feet and be a lazy beach bum. After all, a beach is a beach and the Bahamas has plenty of those. But of course, I also explored the city and enjoyed it as well as I enjoyed the beaches.

I loved the colorful houses.

My favorite building!

Man selling sea shells.

Beautiful shells.

The beach at last

Nothing could be better than the feel of sand and the sound of the waves.

Life is a beach.

And of course, it won’t be a vacation without this!
